Colton Roberts is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Derby, KS who attends Rose Hill. Has a taller and lean frame with long levers. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. A right-handed pitcher who had a live arm with fluid movements down the mound. He used the long levers to his advantage moving down the mound. His fastball was up to 81 mph with some tilt to it from his taller frame. He mixed in a slider with an 11-5 or 10-4 shape that had a lot of tilt. He controlled it around the zone well and used it to miss barrels. He had a good feel for the spin, getting the slider in at 2162 RPMs. A right-handed hitter with even feet and a wider set base, working kind of vertical and upright in the box. He keeps his hands high and uses a toe-tap trigger to get on time. Keeps it compact with an uphill bat path, looking to get the barrel out in front and drive it. He also worked out as a first-baseman, fielding it clean with some athleticism around the bag and moving off of it, he has a longer arm action with strength behind it at 81 mph. He sits back on the ball, working through it with footwork that gets him into a position to throw. Very good student.
