Maddox Russell is a 2028 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-9 143 lb. frame from Laurel, MS who attends Northeast Jones. Recorded an 8.22 60-yard dash. Primary thrid baseman with a physical frame and present strength. Used choppy footwork in the infield, showing solid feel. Good actions in the dirt and solid arm strength across the infield. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with slightly open feet and a high abck elbow. Employs a toe tap timing. Takes an inside path to the ball and swing is short. Bat stays on a level path through the zone and showed the ability to get into the lower-half and torque the hips. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Lands on line at foots trike and ises a full arm action, releasing from a mid-3/4 slot. Easy and lower effort delivery. Occasional sink to fastball and mixed in a curveball that showed medium depth.
