Marcos Roman is a 2023 C/RHP/UT with a 5-6 170 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Lutheran High School. Medium stocky build. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with average foot quickness, stays long and gains ground on the exchange and shows an accurate throwing arm and developing arm strength. Usable athleticism with solid fundamental defensive actions in both the infield and outfield corner spots. Hit from a narrow base and slightly open stance, drops the hands and takes an uphill path to the baseball but does a nice job of being on time and staying on plane. Barreled up the baseball nicely twice in game for line drives. Fastball/slider on the mound with a fastball that topped at 70 and short breaking slider. Named to Top Prospect List for performance in game. Good student.
