Eric Mayers is a 2010 OF/C with a 5'10'', 170 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Hanover HS. Medium athletic build, some developing strength. Bat best tool, tall stance, big load to start swing, has bat speed, hits to all fields, can pull/lift the ball on his pitch, good extension out front, should hit with power at the college level. Clean OF actions, good range/jumps, accurate arm, playable arm strength. Also catches, long release, receives the ball well, 2.04 best pop. Good player. Good student, verbal to Richmond.
