Arrin Murray is a 2027 C/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Mooreland, IN who attends New Castle Chrysler. Smaller framed primary backstop with projectable body and quick release for the age. There's a sense of proper fundamental receiving skills with quality footwork. In the infield, he preps well working cleanly to the baseball with solid ability to funnel it in. The throws across were accurate and in rhythm with developing strength behind it. At the dish, he sets up with even base and striding load. There's decent barrel control with developing bat speed. On the mound, he works from the far first base side of the rubber with a side step to a belt high lift. The stride is short as is the arm action that works smoothly into a high slot release. He showed advanced pitch ability with a quality ability to mix. 8.25 60-yard. Outstanding student.
