LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2004 National Underclass Dec 28-30
Wallace is a 6-1 junior outfielder with a good frame and some strong muscles that look like they’ve seen the inside of a weight room. Wallace runs the 60 in 7.45 and has good arm strength from the outfield and projects well in either left or right field. At the plate, Wallace hits from an open stance with a good set up and load. He generates some good bat speed with his strength but could do a better job of using his core strength. A couple of adjustments to his direction and balance could make a marked improvement in Wallace’s offensive game. Wallace also pitched a couple of innings at the showcase and showed some arm strength. He throws from a high ¾’s release point with a short arm stroke. His fastball topped out at 81 mph, with a 71 mph curveball and 74 mph change up. He is very interesting. Wallace is a very good student.
