Marcos Tolliver is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-6 215 lb. frame from San Rafael, CA who attends San Rafael. Features a big, really tall, athletic, projectable frame. Works with a stretch only operation. Fastball has run, coupled with a breaking ball that has sweep and depth. Physical presence that is not afraid to challenge hitters on the inner half. More velocity to come with a few mechanical adjustment. At first base his glove works out front and was clean. Decent lateral movement with an accurate arm to both bases. At the dish, he has a wide base and sets up pigeon toed. Takes a short stride into contact staying direct with an up the middle approach. Caught a few barrels to the pull side showing really strong hands and bat speed.
