Connor Coon is a 2027 C/RHP, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Mansfield, TX who attends Lakeridge. Slender, medium build with good length to fill. Ran a 8.33 in the sixty. Catcher, developing aspects of gaining ground. Solid fundamentals, good transfer and accurate arm to the bag. Showed well in outfield drills too with solid arm that got to the bag with subtle carry on a line. Also pitched, works from over-the-top slot and mixed his fastball and curveball well. Curve has some solid 10-4 shape to it. Right-handed hitter, even stance and high hand set. Direct path with some separation. Uses size well and swings with plenty of intent. Worked well up the middle from a short path.
