Brody Gadberry is a 2027 RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Port Orchard, WA who attends South Kitsap. Features a taller build for his age with some room to add some strength. Ran a 7.40 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed developing actions that lean more to the corner right now. Heavier feet but that get to his spots with avg. quickness. Decent glove actions that were late at times and showed some stab to the backhand side. Displayed avg. arm strength across for his level with accuracy. At the plate, sits in a medium base that is slightly open. Showed a toe tap trigger where the hands/barrel load deep into a slight arm bar. Gets stuck on his backside at times. Inconsistent timing where he was real late early in the round but found some timing later. More of an uphill swing path through the zone. Best barrel of his round was a hard LD through the middle of the field. Flashes of some quality bat speed but never showed his true level of impact. On the mound, he worked exclusively from the stretch showing a simple operation. Smaller drop into driveleg where there's an early push off the rubber. Medium circle out the glove that works to a lower 3/4 slot. Works on-line with no block at landing. Pounded the strike-zone with the FB that worked up to 75. Mixed in a CH that he cut at times and a developing slurvy breaker with some decent spin (~2200 RPMs) for the velo.
