Davis Hwang is a 2027 1B/ with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Livermore, CA who attends Foothill. Features a lean, athletic projectable frame with room to add muscle. Hwang showed off his versatility both in the outfield and infield showing off his athletic abilities to do both very well. Demonstrated proper footwork techniques and ability to deliver the ball accurately with some zip and carry. At the plate, Hwang starts in a traditional balanced stance and uses a toe-tap trigger mechanism. Has strong hands which generates excellent bat speed. Showed the ability to square it up consistently and use the whole field. Current gap power that should develop into more as he adds strength.
