Carlos Ortiz is a 2028 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-3 115 lb. frame from Yauco, PR who attends Escuela Superior Ocupacional y Tecnica de Yauco. Smaller very young build, just turned 14 years old, lots of growing ahead of him. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with an open front foot, well timed swing with a nice shift into contact, fires his hips aggressively, loose swing with some uphill plane, can turn the barrel well for his strength level, projects as a hitter. 7.71 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder, actions to the ball still developing, higher arm slot, flashed some young arm strength that will continue to develop.
