Dylon Honey is a 2028 SS/RHP, MIF with a 5-8 120 lb. frame from Northridge,, CA who attends Bishop Alemany. Features a smaller-sized lean build. Ran a 7.64 60-yd dash. At SS, displayed quality actions with some feel for the position. Avg. quickness but showed strong footwork where he moves well laterally and in. Soft/sure hands that field it clean and out front. Decent quickness to release where he uses a shorter arm action that got off accurate throws with avg. strength from different slots/angles. At the plate, sits in a wider base. Simple/small forward stride as hands/barrel stay neutral. Clean/quick turn of the barrel on a slight uphill path that extends through well. Maintains balance. On-barrel the majority of his round producing LDs through the middle of the field. Developing strength and bat speed. On the mound, showed a balanced delivery. Side steps into a belt high knee lift. Smaller drop in driveleg with early push off the rubber. Slight stab out the back with the arm that works up to a normal 3/4 slot. Lands on-line and finishes tall. Ran the FB up to 72 and mixed in a developing upper 50s breaker with bigger/slurvy shape.
