E. Samuel Salas is a 2023 UT/ with a lb. frame from Barcelona, B who attends . Recorded a 7.04 second 60-yard dash time. Projectable frame with a good combination of athleticism, twitch, and present strength. Primary shortstop who was very light on his feet with real bounce to his actions. Fast and soft hands with a quick exchange and a higher slot. Very good hands with throws across up to 78 mph but plays up due to release and accuracy. Right-handed hitter with solid bat speed and turns over the front side well. Good present power with consistency to the bat head. Uses both gaps nicely and comes off the barrel really well.
