Kam Smith is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Girard, KS who attends Girard. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a low leg raise delivery with a long and loose arm action in back. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, works mostly to the arm side with occasional running life. Depended heavily on his off-speed pitches this outing. Change up is a very good pitch with command and feel, curveball had good shape and power and was also thrown for strikes. Three-pitch starter type profile, especially as he gets stronger and his velocity keeps ticking up. Excellent student.
