Jacob Turner is a 2009 RHP/1B with a 6'4'', 205 lb. frame from St Charles, MO who attends Westminster Christian Academy. Jacob has a tall, big frame and a super fast arm. He effortlessly sat 92-94 with good life at the Metrodome from a 3/4 arm angle. He also showed a pretty good sharp curveball with some snap to it and finshes his three pitch mix with a 84mph change. He has command of all his pitches to go with his plus stuff. With his easy delivery, and fast arm he projects to add even more velocity. He is one of the top 2009 prospects in the country and everyone will be following his progress. He is also a good student and shows some power at the plate, as if anyone will care, to go with his pitching talents. Aflac All American
