Cole Winhoven is a 2029 3B/RHP/C/1B/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Damascus, MD. Winhoven works from a lean and plenty projectable frame with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '29 prospect. From the OF, he displayed a compact arm action and 3/4 release with intent to remain on top of throws and work downhill. Produced accurate throws around the bag with arm strength expected to develop nicely in the future. Currently topped out at 65 mph. On the mound, showcased direct drop and drive mechanics and continued to release from a clean 3/4 slot. FB touched 72 mph with good feel for zone, challenged hitters to all quadrants. Should see spin become more prominent with age. Offensively, the righty started from an open crouched stance with a high hand set and low back elbow. He utilized a toe tap trigger with evident bat speed through the zone, generating hard impact back up the middle of the field with backspin. Repeated the stroke well with young carry production present. Posted an exit velo of 75 mph. Ran a 8.66 sixty yard dash.
