Jace Garcia is a 2027 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Huntley, IL who attends Huntley. Garcia ran a 7.94 Sixty Yard Dash. Athletic wiry frame with some length and plenty of room for strength in the future. Primary middle infielder with fundamental footwork showing some range laterally getting the glove down early catching it cleanly out in front. The throws were accurate across the diamond with developing arm strength across. On the mound working with a tight drop step into a hip height leg lift. The arm swing was longer through the back side with some quickness in the shoulder coming from a 3/4s release angle with some effort at release. The fastball which peaked at 79mph showed some late arm side run commanding it well to the outer half. Jace mixed in a tight slider with hard two plane break with swing and miss ability. Right handed hitter in the box with a medium length slightly open base into a small leg lift trigger. The hands stay compact to the body working Into a short direct swing through the zone with a middle of the field approach. Garcia is an excellent student in the classroom.
