Jaxon Coleman is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Fairfield, IA who attends Fairfield. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, showing twitchy actions when attacking the ball. He fields it deeper next to his body and showed a good feel for the glove. He gets rid of the ball quickly and fires with a short arm action. Secondary left-handed pitcher that works from the middle of the rubber and uses a knee to belt leg kick. He has a quick delivery and uses drop and drive back leg mechanics. He throws with a shorter am action and fires from a 3/4 slot. He does a nice job of hiding the ball, creating deception in his delivery. He works his fastball around the zone and his curveball has 12-6 shape with developing downer action. Also worked out at first base, working himself into a good hop, allowing himself to field the ball cleanly. He showed solid actions around the base. Left-handed hitter that starts in a narrow stance with a high back elbow. He uses a simple stride into contact and looks to use the entire field.
