Tate Meier is a 2026 RHP/3B/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends Washington Latin. Compact shorter build with some present strength. Works from a big side step and leg raise delivery, tight high 3/4's arm slot, multi-part delivery that he repeats well and has some deception. Fastball was very consistent in the low 80's, topped out at 83 mph, got on hitters well. Showed better feel for the strike zone with a hard curveball that had nice spin and was well shaped, also flashed a firm change up. Works quickly and is all business on the mound. Worked out in the infield with third base tools and actions, arm is his best defensive tool. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a tight hand load, has an early front side and likes the ball on the inside half, gets the ball in the air with some lift on his pitch. Very good student.
