Kyle Deering is a 2026 RHP/MIF/OF with an athletic 5-11 160 lb. frame from West Sacramento, CA who attends Acton Academy HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.36 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher. Showcased a balanced, repeatable operation down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a longer arm action. Fastball sat 80-81 mph with armside run. Looks to use it on the inner half. Paired the heater with an upper-60’s curveball and mid-70’s changeup. Pitch mixed overwhelmed hitters throughout. Worked out on the infield. Presents glove early. Catches the backhand clean consistently. Was accurate with solid arm strength across, reaching 75 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a wide base. Shifts weight with a leg lift timing mechanism. Swings on a level path through the zone. Still refining timing consistency. Doing so would allow for a more accurate barrel. Excellent student.
