Max Youngblood is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-7 116 lb. frame from Wentzville, MO who attends North Point. Medium young frame, ran 60 yard dash in 7.71 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, more stationary lower half in swing, no coil or drive, will gain strength as he matures, more compact path with hands, shows solid contact skills. Worked out in the infield, direct footwork with an idea of funneling out front, developing arm strength and feel for timer, clocked up to 70 mph. Also pitched, abbreviated windup, lands very collapsed, fastball worked 65-68 mph with flashes of arm side life, slow curveball with gradual depth.
