Richny Frans is a 2025 SS/2B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Springfield, MA. Smaller young build with some quick twitch strength to him and more to come. Primary shortstop on defense, has outstanding athletic action, moves very well with outstanding balance to all his actions, quick and sure hands fielding the ball, showed big arm strength across the diamond, arm really works well, all the tools to play defense in the middle infield at a high level. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a tight hand load, has fast hands and a tight and compact swing, has present bat speed and barrel whip, hand speed gives him some gap to gap pop. Very interesting young talent. Named to the New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
