Nathan Wagner is a 2028 3B/RHP, C, 1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Simi Valley, CA who attends Westlake. Features a medium-sized build with some present physicality. Ran a 8.80 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed corner actions. Limited footspeed/quickness but showed solid glovework. Hands played though hops and showed some sureness. Extra shuffle into throws where arm showed a shorter AA with avg. strength across with accuracy whether that was at SS or at 1B. At the plate, sits in a medium base and uses a bigger leg lift trigger. Some coil in the load. Hands load the barrel into a higher elbow launch. Barrel gets thrown on a flatter path through with a level finish. Some inconsistent timing but found 4-5 quality LDs/FBs into the LC gap when he caught it out front. Quality impact and jump off the barrel for his level. On the mound, worked exclusively from the stretch and showed a balanced delivery he repeats. Belt high leg lift that comes down with quality extension and drive down the mound with good direction. Medium arm path out the glove and up to a normal 3/4 slot. Worked fast, threw strikes and induced contact. Ran the fastball up to 72, living in the upper 60s. Mixed in a sparingly used and developing mid 60s slider.
