Angel J Meléndez Ribot is a 2025 RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Fajardo, PR who attends Esc. Vocacional Ana D. Flores Santana. Slender medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a high leg raise start, long and wrapped arm action in back to a 3/4's arm slot, some energy at release and tends to get ahead of himself and throw to his glove side. Fastball worked in the upper 70's and touched 80 mph, mostly glove side. Sweeping curveball showed good spin and some depth at times. Key to development will be making mechanical adjustments to throw more strikes with both pitches. Good student.
