Pierson Klinger is a 2029 OF/RHP, 1B, 3B, MIF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Germantown, TN. Klinger worked from a range of defensive spots on his event, starting as a primary OF displaying long strides with some young carry behind throws up to 67 mph. He worked through the baseball well and generated downhill momentum successfully with arm strength expected to increase in the future. Klinger was also 67 mph across the diamond, showcasing refining glove work from both SS and 1B with quick transfers and a deep fielding funnel. On the mound Klinger worked from the stretch flashing simple repeatable mechanics with the ability to change eye levels and work all quadrants of the zone. He released from a compact 3/4 slot and was efficient during his outing. Offensively, the righty started from an even base and successfully stayed inside the baseball to create contact to all parts of the field. He got directly through the zone with flashes of bat speed, posting an exit velo of 62 mph. Ran a 8.59 sixty yard dash.
