Wes Willenburg is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Verona Area. Medium, compact build with some strength present and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary third baseman, works through the baseball with shorter strides. Displayed developing range and athleticism in the dirt with softness in the hands. Releases the ball from an over-the-top slot. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 73 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the first base side of the rubber with a belt-high leg lift. Separates the hands at the midsection and into an inline arm path before releasing the ball from a high three-quarters slot. Remains balanced over the rubber and works directly down the slope. Fastball showed some natural sink, ultimately peaking at 75 mph. Mixed in a 12-6 curveball with good depth and some bite to it. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with an even hand set-up. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into a level bat path. Remains balanced in the box and short to the baseball, impacting it with easy strength when timed up. Produced consistently loud contact to the middle of the field during batting practice. Has intriguing strength and quickness in the hands. Posted an exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 7.76 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
