2023 Great Lakes Prospect Showcase
Sean Cody is a 2025 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Oak Lawn, IL who attends Richards. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.84 seconds. Hits from medium-based stance, repeatable and consistent trigger, gets barrel turned and out front on good path, whip to stroke with bat speed, flatter path built for spraying liners around, showed adjustability, good hitting tools with intriguing projection. Worked out in the infield, bounce to footwork with ability to move laterally, hands work well out front, clean feet, solid arm strength with throws clocked up to 88 mph across. Excellent student who really stood out in this event. Named to 2023 Great Lakes Showcase Top Prospect List.
