Cameron McDonald is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Covenant Academy. Lean young athletic build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves through the ball well and has some idea on his footwork, has a short arm stroke with a 3/4's arm slot, developing arm strength but makes accurate throws. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a simple shift into contact, has a direct and level swing path and stays on time well, gap to gap contact with some jump when he gets extended, good base swing to continue to improve on as he gets stronger. Also pitched, has a compact leg lift and arm takeaway, fastball sat in the low 70's with some arm side life, also threw a 1/7 curveball and a straight change up both of which matched his fastball release well.
