Mitchell Shifflett is a 2010 OF/P/IF with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Midlothian, VA who attends Cosby HS. Lean tightly wound athletic build. Incredible speed, 6.11 in the 60 with zero effort stride, glides, 4.03 to 1B right side. Balanced leg lift swing approach, front foot down late, line drive swing, mid field contact, bat speed will improve. Very good OF range, below average arm but accurate, can improve footwork. Speed is his game, but the rest projects nicely. Outstanding student, verbal to Virginia.
