Cole Andrus is a 2028 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-9 174 lb. frame from Ewa Beach, HI. Features a bigger build with some strength present. Primary left-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into slight drop and drive mechanics. Stays fluid down the mound, showing a low effort operation. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a longer arm action. Fastball sat 74-79 mph with slight armside run. Can generate weak groundballs when located. Changeup at 69-71 mph with slight fading action can be thrown for strikes often. Flashed quality shape on developing curveball at 61-64mph. Pitch mix can keep hitters off balance. Worked out in the outfield. Arm speed and intent played well from the spot. Can create carry when in-sync, reaching 77 mph. Still refining footwork into the catchpoint. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a short stride pre-pitch. Swings on a direct path with some barrel control when balanced. Approach stays through the middle of the field. Flashed developing bat speed at times. Ran an 8.58 60-yard dash.
