Landon Pope is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends John F Kennedy. Stocky build with good strength potential. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight bent knee stance with a short stride into his swing, rotational upper body swing with a downhill angle to the plate, front side flies open early at times. 8.83 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, fields the ball cleanly and has soft hands, plays with some energy and is aggressive to the ball, can continue to work on his lower half agility and quickness. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a low 3/4's arm slot with along and loose arm action. Fastball was mostly in the upper 60's and topped out at 72 mph with some sinking action. Also threw a sweeping curveball and a change up.
