Cameron Duff is a 2028 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-3 104 lb. frame from Madison Heights, VA who attends Amherst County. High-waisted, young frame with plenty of time and room to fill out. Recorded a 9.05 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Deliberate paced actions with deeper fielding funnel, uphill movements into the the throwing process and the ability to change arm slot when necessary. Recorded arm strength up to 58 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary left-handed pitcher developing attributes on the mound. Incorporates belt high leg lift from both the windup and stretch, deliberate pace down the slope. Fastball worked in the 53-58 mph range for the duration of his outing and topped out at 59 mph in this look. Mixed in slower, big breaking curveball with developing spin profile. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright, narrow and open stance. Incorporates a tight hand set and subtle leg lift trigger to get to launch. Whole field approach with contact oriented stroke and developing bat-to-ball skills. Slightly elongated and round path that will continue to improve with additional strength.
