Camden Taylor is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Morton, IL who attends Morton. A medium frame and build with some athleticism. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who fields it well with athletic traits on display. He moved well and showed a good feel for the backhand, adjusting the arm as necessary. He was accurate to the bag with throws at 78 mph across the diamond. He had carry on his throws with a fundamentally sound round of throws. He had quicker transfers with quick movements overall that project. Good intent shown throughout his round. A left-handed hitter with a spread base, slightly open feet, high hands, and the back elbow up. He uses an inward toe tap with some bat speed ton display. He had a shorter and compact stroke with some feel to get uphill through it and launch the ball. He was able to drive it and show fluidity to work back up the middle and gap-to-gap throughout his round of BP swings. Showed some feel to impact it and drive the ball well. Produced an 86 mph exit velocity during DK Teesting. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a hybrid delivery using a sidestep into the leg lift up at the belt. He pushed down the slope well with drop-and-drive mechanics. He had a longer and full arm action with a fastball into the upper-70s that had running life through the zone. He showed some ride and carried it well. The curveball worked the upper-60s with a downer shape and depth. Also flashed the occasional changeup at 71 mph with spin in the 1,800s. Put together a good outing on the mound. Good student.
