Matteo Panciera is a 2027 SS/C with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Mystic, CT who attends Stonington. Works from a medium frame with some present athleticism. Primary shortstop, worked through the ball and adjusts well, good lateral range, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 76 mph across the diamond, projects well as a fielder. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a high back elbow and tight hands, crouched stance, high-effort swing, present quickness and strength in the hands, produced hard liners through the middle of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. Ran a 7.28 sixty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the 2023 13/14U Sunshine New York Showcase Top Prospect List.
