Reid LaFrenz is a 2025 C/2B, 3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Edina, MN who attends Edina. Recorded a 7.70 second sixty-yard dash time. Taller frame with a compact build. Primary catcher works from a side straddle set up. Rocks into the on-line footwork. Gains ground well with a longer arm action. Recorded a 1.96 second pop time during drills. Right-handed hitter starts from a wide base with even hands and an even back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Some strength in the swing and extends through the ball well. Made adjustments and put real well-connected swings together. Getting the ball on the barrel with good bat speed and barrel whip. Used the whole field when balanced and on time. Some ability to get lift. Developing timing mechanism. Exciting player with good upside. Excellent student.
