Andrew Belanger is a 2026 C/3B/MIF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Richardson. Primary catcher with a medium thick build. Ran a 7.19 second sixty. Sits in a square stance with game-like actions in the drills. Showed young twitch coming out of the crouch while maintaining good direction as he gains ground toward the target. Made accurate throws with average arm strength recording a 2.28 second pop time. Showed good glove actions on the back hand with a clean pick getting the ball out of the glove cleanly with a longer gather making the plays with accurate throws. Right handed hitter starts with an even base and open stance. Gets to contact with the weight on the back side working best to the opposite field with young bat speed. Very good student.
