Erick Santiago Jr is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-9 120 lb. frame from Mount Vernon, NY who attends Little Red School House/Elisab. Santiago Jr works from medium projectable build with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '27 prospect. Primary LHP, worked exclusively from the stretch with ability to work backwards in counts. Pitched to contact effectively with developing velocity up to 66 mph. Over the top slot, developing spin profile on breaker at 1503 rpm. From the OF, showcased refining glove work with intent to attack the baseball and release quickly. Topped out at 61 mph. Offensively, the lefty started from a narrow base with a high hand set and high back elbow. Utilized toe tap trigger with direct path through the zone. Intent to work the middle of the field. Developing strength in the hands. Ran a 7.88 sixty yard dash.
