Christian Balkcom is a 2025 OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Wheatley Heights, NY who attends Holy Trinity. Big and strong athletic build. 6.81 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, light on his feet and gets to the ball well, still developing his footwork into his throws, big crow hop that slows his release and gets him off-direction. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a low hand load, tends to rest his bat on his shoulder and get it off late, has strength in his hands and showed the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field with some carry, pretty direct barrel path, has hitting tools to develop with adjustments and repetitions. Good student.
