Liam Cleaver is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Oakville, ON who attends St Ignatius of Loyola. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present physical strength proportioned throughout, additional room to fill. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set up behind the plate in drill, receives the ball out front, replaces feet with step coming out of crouch, quick transfer and release on throws down to second base, shows accuracy, will continue to make refinements. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and balanced base in the box; loads into legs at start of swing and utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Matches plane well in swing and shows some impact coming off of the barrel. Shows quickness in hands and can work to all fields with best strength coming to pull side when on time and squared. Excellent student.
