Gabriel McMurray is a 2029 C/2B/SS with a 5-3 105 lb. frame from Advance, NC who attends Salem Baptist Christian. McMurray works from a young build with lots of time to fill out and physically develop as a '29 prospect. Exclusively from his primary spot behind the plate, he displayed quick transfers with in sync mechanics to produce consistent throws around the bag. Arm strength should continue to develop nicely. Touched 62 mph and posted a 2.40 pop time. Offensively, the righty started from an even base flashing a bigger leg lift trigger with intent to get the barrel out and generate impact out in front. Swing path favors the pull side of the field with developing bat speed. Posted an exit velo of 63 mph. Ran a 8.95 sixty yard dash.
