Owen Bourgeois is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Cobham, SR, who attends ACS Cobham (London, England). A taller frame with a lean build. Showed athleticism throughout the body with room to keep filling out moving forward. Projectable frame & build. Ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher who worked the mid- to upper-70s on his fastball with good arm-side run to it. He also showed a fading changeup in the mix, working the upper-60s and killing spin well on the pitch. He also flashed a breaking ball that he could land for strikes. He pitched from a three-quarters delivery, working through release, being able to get in the glove side and command the zone. He had success against right-handers in doing so, getting inside and controlling the glove side third of the zone. He uses the long & lean build well as he works down the slope. He threw 3.0 innings, punching out 5 opposing hitters while avoiding any traffic on the basepaths. Bourgeois also worked as a position player. He took BP as a left-handed bat with a slightly open base and toe-tap trigger. He had an elongated path to contact that he used to get the barrel on it, working to the middle of the field and pull-side during his round of swings. Added a base knock in-game as well. Worked out as an outfielder, fielding the ball out front, bent at the waist. Had a shorter and compact arm action as he released, throwing 80 mph from the outfield during his round of throws. Throws worked uphill out of the hand. He showed off some speed working to the ball and was athletic in his round of defense. Great student. Named to 2023 PG Main Event TP List.
