Thomas Cartaya is a 2028 SS/ with a 5-1 97 lb. frame from Collierville, TN who attends Collierville. Recorded a 8.30 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop, solid fundamental actions, gets throws to the bag, good direction, covers some ground, has a solid fundamental base here with a lot of good components to work off of once more size and strength come into the picture down the line. Right-handed hitter, even and balanced stance, has some rhythm in the box, swing works, contact oriented idea in there. Good base long term to develop off of, will improve with natural size and strength that will eventually find its way into the picture.
