Cruz Ferguson is a 2028 INF with a lean 5-9 140 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Centennial HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.59 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop that pitched as well. Showed a developing skill set on the dirt making all the required play and throws with decent actions and accuracy. On the mound he used his fastball only running it up to 78. Belt high leg lift, shorter arm action out of a 3/4 slot and a sligh cross-fire delivery. Proved to be a strike thrower and produced some quick outs getting hitters to roll over early in counts. Offensively, Ferguson starts in a traditional even, balanced stance. Was able to square the ball up a few times showing he had control of the barrel.
