Nolan Myers is a 2029 C/RHP, 2B, 3B, SS, MIF, IF, OF with a 4-11 110 lb. frame from Clayton, NC who attends Cleveland High School. Young, narrow shouldered frame with a lean build, room to develop and add physical strength. Ran a 10.31 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up deep behind the plate with slight turn, receives the ball out front, longer exchange but works into a shorter arm action, arm strength and carry on throws will continue to develop. Fields the ball out front with two hands in the infield, longer strides moving to the backhand, compact arm action on throws across the diamond, young footwork and will continue to refine. Also pitched, works out of the stretch, leg lift up to belt at start of delivery, similar compact arm action through the backside, short stride coming down the mound and can get more drive from lower half; worked mostly off of fastball in this look, topped out at 52 mph and worked around the zone. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, narrow and tall stance in the box. Utilizes a longer stride moving into contact, linear path through the zone, tends to open front side early in swing, remains short through the zone, contact oriented approach.
