Nathaniel Wellen is a 2028 OF/1B, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Romoland, CA who attends Liberty High School. Features a taller build with some present strength/athleticism. Ran a 7.23 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed solid actions. More of a relaxed approach to the baseball with minimal quickness/urgency. Did field it clean and out front. Decent quickness in transfer and to release where he showed a longer arm action that got off uphill throws with avg. strength and accuracy. At the plate, sits in an even/squared stance. Physicality shows at the plate with strength to the hands. Barrel works on an uphill path through. Controls the barrel well within a connected swing. Drove a couple hard barrels into the gaps flashing some present impact.
