Diego Eduan Rivera is a 2025 C with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Ciales, PR who attends El Shaddai Christian Academy. Strong athletic build, big and physical. Right handed hitter, has strength in his swing and impacts the ball, can drive the ball to both the pull side and to the opposite field gap, has leverage at contact and gets the ball into the air, stayed well timed in the games and picked up a booming double to center field, solid overall hitting skills with plenty of power potential. 7.75 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low behind the plate and has quick feet and lower half flexibility, tends to reach for the ball receiving at times, good arm strength and makes accurate throws. Has the strength and skills to keep developing as a prospect.
