Ethan Cavanaugh is a 2027 RHP with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Murfreesboro, TN who attends Blackman. Strong athletic build. Has a compact and well controlled delivery, lands slightly closed but clears his hips well, medium length arm stroke with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the low 80's with some sink and run, topped out at 82 mph. Threw both a curveball and a slider, slider had better spin and shape although he lowered his slot at times. Change had some fade to it, especially when thrown from the stretch. Has the pitches to mix and change speeds.
