Reid Walters is a 2027 OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends Crescent School. Medium build with well-proportioned strength present and projection remaining. Primary outfielder, works through the baseball at a deliberate pace and fields it off to the side. Separates into a shorter arm path and gets away from the arm a bit while releasing the ball. Displayed developing footwork in the outfield with some present quickness in the shoulder. Kept his throws online while recording arm strength up to 76 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide stance with a high back elbow. Utilizes a small leg lift trigger for timing before working into a slightly downhill bat path. Works behind the baseball with some decent bat speed generated through the zone. Casts the hands at times and loses connection at the point of contact. Flashed some strength in the barrel during batting practice with more to project on moving forward. Posted an exit velocity of 75 mph. Ran a 7.54 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
