Jacob Knoll is a 2027 RHP/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Ancaster, ON who attends Bishop Tonnos Catholic. Medium, compact build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch. Strides inline as he works down the slope and accelerates into a high three-quarters release. Fastball showed some arm-side run, ultimately peaking at 78 mph. Mixed in a changeup with some arm-side fade to it as well as a slider with big sweeping action. Projects for an uptick in velocity with additional strength. Secondary third baseman, moved well laterally and took efficient routes to the baseball. Bends at the waist and gets the glove down late at times. Funneled the ball with soft hands and delivered accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 74 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a low hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a heel turn load for timing before working into a slightly downhill bat path. Takes a direct path to the baseball, delivering the barrel on-time. Displayed developing bat speed and consistency in the barrel. Produced soft liners to the middle of the field when timed up during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 67 mph. Ran an 8.24 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
