John is a catcher with very good skills behind the plate. He has a stocky catchers body with strong legs and soft hands. A LH hitter with good bat speed and developing skills at the plate. Should hit for more power as he fiwures out his swing. Shows good bat speed and we would like to see him attack the inside ball more often. Right now his catching skills are ahead of his hitting. Showed 73c velocity and best 2.07 pop time. Has good feet and is online. Could imnprove glove trransfers.
